We’ve been helping motorcyclists learn to ride since 1999. We also have an experienced team of mechanics who can provide expert repair services for any type of bike and even sell quality new and used motorcycles.
Our story Begins in 1999
Following service in both the armed forces and the police force, Jimmy Rimmer with his wife Helen, set up Ace Motorcycle Training in August 1999.
Setting out to provide a first class service to those wanting to undertake motorcycle training at any level, Jimmy recruited the best full-time, professional motorcycle instructors available in the North East, drawing on their combined experience and operating from dedicated training sites, seven days a week.
TRAINING
At our training branch in durham, we are equipped with our
own private practice ground, you can rest assured you’ll
receive first-class tuition from Ace Motorcycle Training.
Customer Care & Standards
Since opening, we have rapidly become the largest independent Driving Standards Agency Approved training body (ATB) operating in the region. Our formula for instruction, customer care and value for money has seen hundreds of customers achieve a pass rate that’s more than double the national average.
At the same time we recognise that the learning process is enhanced, if training is both safe and fun. We treat our customers as friends and, as such, we are always available outside of our professional obligations to provide help and advice to our customers, on all matters regarding motorcycling.
